About us
We’ve been in the media creation business for many years and, between us, have over 50 years of experience in photography, videography and video production. However, we’re still passionate about getting it right, keeping up-to-date and making our clients happy. At MadWitch we take our craft seriously but we believe that making content should be fun, for all involved, so we strive to make the entire visual production process enjoyable and stress-free, whilst being professional and producing great content.
We can tailor our services to suit your budget, whether it be a quick ‘grab-and-go’ video, a profile photo, an aerial video, a high production project or anything in-between. Based in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, we are ideally located to cover the South-East, although we can and have worked all over UK and in Europe. We have a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from big International companies to small businesses to individual clients. If you are new to the whole process, don't worry, we can take you through the whole, or any part, of the journey, whatever your needs.
The Main Protagonists
Liz Howard
Liz has worked in a diversity of industries and positions, throughout which she has gained many transferable skills (corporate speak). Having been introduced to the world of new media creation and seeing what fun it was, in 2013 she decided to leap from the security of a corporate role into the carnival world of creation and started working with Richard in video production. Initially, Richard had hoped she would be a sound recordist (one of the hardest jobs on set - in her opinion!) but she decided she preferred the creativity and control of editing and the vision (and control) of directing. She also shoots video but leaves the stills to Richard. Her leap into the unknown has worked, she hasn't looked back, and still has huge fun doing it!
Richard Pinches
Richard discovered the joy of working in visual media right at the start of his working life and set up his own photography business when he was just 22. This he grew successfully whilst also developing a fantastic, and much beloved by clients, photography/videography hire complex with three studios, including a green screen soundstage. He's been through many advancements and technological innovations since he first started and is renowned for his creative lighting skills, attention to detail and happy clients!
On larger projects we work with our team of great freelancers, and industry professionals, most of whom we've worked with for many years and who are experienced, good at what they do and great to work with.
